Beautiful property with large, amazing rooms and peaceful surroundings. The front garden, including the pool, is spacious, though the pool water can be quite cold—ideal for those who prefer cooler temperatures. The rooms are well-furnished, especially the Deluxe King Suite, which is exceptional. The jacuzzi could use an update, but everything else is great. Wi-Fi struggles in the rooms but works fine in common areas. The views of the garden from the rooms are stunning. Nearby tea plantations offer a unique experience, with friendly locals ready to show the tea-picking process. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious and plentiful. The staff is friendly and tries hard, though sometimes service can slow down, likely due to a lack of professional training. They accommodated our request for a late checkout after hiking Adams Peak, and even offered a late breakfast. The area's beauty is truly worth the visit. The place was immaculate, sparkling clean, very comfortable beds and soft bed linen. The manager Chandi went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. The place offers dinners, at very reasonable price, and these were actually the best dinners we've had in Sri Lanka. Not only were they very tasty but also the choice was just a bit wider and we were able to choose food that we were missing after being away from home for many weeks. The place offers an outdoor swimming pool and also a pool table free of charge. The views from the room are beautiful and garden is very well maintained. We found this place to be excellent value for money, we felt very well looked after and would recommend it to anyone planning on staying in Hatton

Everything! The beautiful and peaceful house is located in the midst of tea plantations. We got to wake up to fresh air and mist in the morning. We were glad to spend 3 nights in the king suite, just doing nothing. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious and generous. The staff service was excellent and treated us like royalty. We had mint tea and milk tea in the afternoons. They arranged a tuktuk to take me to the waterfalls and Nuwara Eliya attractions which were about 1 hr away. Riding through the tea plantations, mountains and waterfalls was one of the best rides in Sri Lanka. Just amazing! Highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Hatton.

We stayed at the Grand Argyle during the monsoon season and could not have been happier. The rooms are beautifully kept and designed. Each having an open balcony facing the gardens with rocking chairs to relax and take in the ambience. The staff truly care about hospitality and the food was wonderful. Both room service and the buffet every morning. I hope in the future to come back to this wonderful retreat set in the highland tea estates.

Lovely and tranquil place surrounded high up by tea plantations! It's was the most pretty and comfortable room we had on our journey in Sri Lanka - everything felt new yet home-like and very clean. Mahesh was very kind and provided unbelievably great service and was there for us immediately if we needed anything. The dinner was very tasty! This place feels more like a mix of hotel and B&B - you get treated with great care.
